9. ‘Danish tunes and some composed by me’
In my workshop we are going to play some traditional Danish tunes and some tunes composed by me. We will try to examine, what is hidden in the tunes: stories, feelings, rythms etc. Then we will try to express stories, feelings and rythms with our little squeezebox and our fingers.
We will probably have to sing, dance, shout, be foolish and play play play.
Deze workshop is voor gevorderde spelers die gewend zijn ook op het gehoor te spelen.
CELJ is autodidakt harmonica- and accordionplayer for more than fifty years. He has played traditional Danish music and own compositions in half of the world solo or in groups as Lang Linken, Danish Dia Delight, Puls etc.
There has been a lot of teaching. For some years it has mostly been as a professor at the Conservatory of Odense in Denmark.
